What does 1450ppm fluoride mean?

It is the concentration of fluoride ion in the paste: 1,450 parts per million. Australian toothpastes above 1,000ppm carry warnings to the effect of "Do not swallow" and "Do not use in children six years of age or less". Children's toothpastes use less fluoride, so check the pack and ask a dental professional what suits a child's age.

Which toothpaste has fluoride and xylitol?
