Boka Probiotic Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste in Peppermint Blossom is for people who want the microbiome side of oral care without a novelty flavour attached to it. It pairs Boka's hydroxyapatite base with Lactobacillus paracasei — a live probiotic strain — in a paste that tastes like ordinary mint toothpaste.

The flavour is peppermint and spearmint led, with a thread of floral ylang-ylang underneath that takes the sharp edge off a straight peppermint. It reads as classic rather than clinical, and it is the more traditional of the two Boka Probiotic flavours — Citrus Mint is the zesty one.

Hydroxyapatite (HA) — a biocompatible mineral made from the same building blocks as natural tooth enamel — is the core active cleaning and whitening ingredient, with hydrated silica to gently polish away surface stains. Aloe vera, xylitol and green tea leaf extract complete the base. Free from fluoride, sulfates, parabens, and artificial flavours and colours. Vegan and cruelty free.

Step 1: Brush Your Teeth
Use a small amount and brush twice a day - just like you normally would.

Step 2: Take Your Time
Brush gently for 2 full minutes to let the probiotics do their thing.

▸ Which probiotic does Boka Probiotic toothpaste contain?
Lactobacillus paracasei, a live strain carried in the paste alongside hydroxyapatite. It is why Boka recommends spitting without rinsing — rinsing washes the culture straight out.

▸ What does Peppermint Blossom taste like?

Wasn't expecting much but decided to try it out. Was pleasantly surprised with the taste and how well it covered my teeth during cleaning. No stupid overpowered mint taste either.
Very pleasant and gentle on the tongue. I really like the taste of the probiotic one. Leaves your teeth feeling dentist cleaned which lasts for ages.
I had the very start of a cavity in one of my molars, and after three days of use the sensitivity has gone. No trouble since. I dont see how it would go away unless the enamel is rebuilding. If it's not that it's a good placebo.
Overall, the best toothpaste I've ever used. 10/10.

Good natural toothpaste option. Cleans well and the Peppermint Blossom flavour is nice. I do find it doesn't foam as much as regular toothpaste, which took some getting used to, but that's because there's no SLS. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone looking to switch to a cleaner oral care routine.

Switched from a mainstream brand to Boka and haven't looked back. The texture is smooth, not gritty like some natural pastes. My teeth feel genuinely clean after brushing, not just minty. The Peppermint Blossom scent is lovely and subtle. A bit pricier than supermarket options but absolutely worth it for the quality ingredients.

Great toothpaste overall. I appreciate the natural formulation and the fact it doesn't contain SLS. The Peppermint Blossom flavour took a day or two to get used to coming from a conventional mint, but now I prefer it. My mouth feels fresh for hours after brushing. Only wish the tube was a bit bigger for the price.
