Boka Nano-Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste in Cucumber Mint is for anyone who wants a mint toothpaste that doesn't fight back. It's built around nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha) — a biocompatible mineral that shares the same building blocks as natural tooth enamel — as its core cleaning and whitening active, in a fluoride free, SLS free base.

The flavour is the point of difference. Most mint toothpastes lead with added menthol crystals and finish with a sharp sting. This one doesn't use any. The cool comes from the mint oils themselves — peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen and a touch of anise — lifted by cucumber fruit extract for a fresh, watery, almost spa-like finish. Crisp rather than fiery.

Around the n-Ha sit the naturally derived ingredients Boka is known for: aloe vera, xylitol, green tea leaf extract, and cucumber, avocado and mango fruit extracts, with hydrated silica doing the gentle polishing work on surface stains from coffee and tea.

Fluoride free, SLS free, paraben free, vegan and cruelty-free. A good pick if strong mint has always put you off brushing, or if you share a tube with someone who finds conventional toothpaste too intense.

How to use...

Apply a pea-sized amount to your brush (no need to wet the bristles) and brush for 2 minutes, twice a day. For best results, do not rinse after use — leaving the paste on gives the ingredients more contact time. It is non-toxic if small amounts are accidentally swallowed.
