Boka Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste in Cucumber Mint is for anyone who wants a mint toothpaste that doesn't fight back. It's built around hydroxyapatite (HA), the mineral that makes up about 97% of tooth enamel, in a fluoride free, SLS free base.

The flavour is the point of difference. This one has no added menthol. The cool comes from the mint oils themselves — peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen and a touch of anise — lifted by cucumber fruit extract for a fresh, watery, almost spa-like finish. Crisp rather than fiery.

Around the hydroxyapatite sit the ingredients found across the Boka range: aloe vera, xylitol, green tea leaf extract, and cucumber, avocado and mango fruit extracts, with hydrated silica and baking soda to polish and help lift surface stains from coffee and tea.

Fluoride free, SLS free, paraben free, vegan and cruelty-free. A good pick if strong mint has always put you off brushing, or if you share a tube with someone who prefers a softer mint.

How to use

Apply a pea-sized amount to your brush (no need to wet the bristles) and brush for 2 minutes, twice a day. Do not rinse after use.

No. It is one of the gentler mints in the Boka range. There is no added menthol on the ingredient list, so the cool comes from peppermint, spearmint and wintergreen oils.

Gradually. Hydrated silica and baking soda polish and help lift surface stains like coffee and tea. It is a polishing approach rather than chemical bleaching, with no peroxide in the paste.
