Measure out about one teaspoon (≈10ml). If the oil has set in cold weather, warm the bottle in your hands first.
Swish it gently around your mouth and between your teeth for 5–10 minutes — work up to 20 as you get used to it. Don't gargle or swallow; the oil traps bacteria as you go.
Spit into the bin, not the sink — coconut oil can solidify and block drains.
Rinse your mouth with warm water, then brush as normal.
Use daily, ideally first thing in the morning before eating.

▸ What does oil pulling actually do?
Swishing the coconut-oil blend around your mouth lifts bacteria, plaque and food debris that brushing alone can miss, particularly between teeth and along the gumline. Used regularly it supports healthier gums and fresher breath.

▸ How strong is the peppermint?
Cool and crisp, but not harsh. It's flavoured with natural English peppermint oil rather than synthetic flavouring, so it's clean and bright instead of the sharp burn you get from alcohol-based rinses. If you'd prefer something softer, the Spearmint version is milder.

▸ How often should I use it?
Three to five times a week is plenty for most people, though it's gentle enough for daily use. Mornings, before breakfast, work best.

▸ Can I use it with fillings, crowns or braces?
Yes. It's a gentle oil rinse with no alcohol, abrasives or bleaching agents, so it won't damage dental work. If you've had recent treatment or wear an appliance, check with your dentist first.

▸ Do I still need to brush?
Yes — oil pulling complements brushing, it doesn't replace it. Oil pull first, then brush as normal.

▸ How many uses will a bottle give me?
The 100ml bottle gives roughly 10–15 rinses and the 275ml about 25–30, based on a tablespoon per use. The cap doubles as a measure.
