Georganics Oil Pulling Mouthwash - Spearmint

Measure out about one teaspoon (≈10ml). If the oil has set in cold weather, warm the bottle in your hands first.
Swish it gently around your mouth and between your teeth for 5–10 minutes — work up to 20 as you get used to it. Don't gargle or swallow; the oil traps bacteria as you go.
Spit into the bin, not the sink — coconut oil can solidify and block drains.
Rinse your mouth with warm water, then brush as normal.
Use daily, ideally first thing in the morning before eating.

▸ How long should I swish for?
Start at 5 minutes and build up to 10–20 as you get used to it. Swish gently rather than vigorously so your jaw doesn't tire — even 5 minutes is worthwhile.

▸ Is oil pulling better than regular mouthwash?
They do different jobs. Conventional mouthwash largely masks odour and often contains alcohol that dries the mouth. Oil pulling lifts bacteria and debris without alcohol or antiseptics, so it cleans without stripping the mouth's natural balance. Most people use it alongside brushing, not instead of it.

▸ Should I oil pull before or after brushing?
Before. Oil pulling loosens debris and surface stains, so brushing afterwards clears it all away. First thing in the morning, before eating, works best.

▸ Why has the oil gone solid?
Coconut oil sets below roughly 24°C, so it firms up in cooler weather. Warm the bottle in your hands for a minute and it turns liquid again — the formula is unaffected.

▸ Can I spit it down the sink?
Better not to. Coconut oil re-solidifies as it cools and can build up in your drain over time. Spit into a bin or a tissue instead.

▸ How is Spearmint different from the English Peppermint version?
Spearmint is the milder of the two — softly sweet and smooth, without peppermint's sharp cooling hit. Choose it if you find strong mint too intense.
