Peppermint, spearmint, anise and wintergreen, kept soft enough for younger palates, in a fluoride-free hydroxyapatite toothpaste with coconut oil in the base.

For when peppermint feels a bit loud. Davids Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste – Mild Mint keeps the Davids blend of peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen and anise but dials it down, so it reads as fresh rather than fiery. Davids makes it as a Kids + Adults paste.

The base is the Davids Hydroxiâ„¢ formula: calcium carbonate and hydrated silica as fine abrasives, baking soda, birch-derived xylitol, coconut oil and hydroxyapatite, the mineral that makes up about 97% of tooth enamel. The abrasives help lift everyday surface stains, with no peroxide.

It is fluoride-free and SLS-free, with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, and vegan and cruelty-free. Each 4 oz (113 g) Davids metal tube is made in the USA from domestic and imported materials.

Brush thoroughly after each meal for (2) minutes, or as directed by your dentist or doctor.

How is Mild Mint different from regular Peppermint?

Mild Mint is a softer, less intense mint, made for kids and adults who find regular peppermint too sharp. It still has the clean mint finish, just at a gentler strength.
Can children use Mild Mint?

Yes. Davids makes Mild Mint as a Kids + Adults paste, and the softer mint is easier on younger palates than regular peppermint. Ask your dentist how much toothpaste suits a young child.
Is it a whitening toothpaste?

It helps lift surface stains. Fine calcium carbonate and hydrated silica do the polishing, with baking soda alongside, on the same hydroxyapatite base as the rest of the Davids Hydroxi range. There is no peroxide, so any change is gradual.
Is Davids fluoride-free?

Yes. Mild Mint has no fluoride and no SLS. Its key ingredient is hydroxyapatite, the mineral that makes up about 97% of tooth enamel, and its foam comes from sodium cocoyl glutamate.
