Dark chocolate and cherry over a layer of amaretto marzipan, with peppermint at the close, make up Marvis Black Forest, sold in a 75ml tube. Marvis pitches it as a dessert and names the notes in that order, so the mint reads as a finish rather than the lead. In effect it is a chocolate toothpaste with cherry running through it. No chocolate, cherry or almond appears in the ingredient list; the notes come from the aroma blend.

The dessert stops at the flavour.
